Truth was too bitter for him!

A lady who was delivering the welcome speech at a meeting of a women’s organisation held at the headquarters of a certain political party had had to bring her talk to an abrupt end on an order from the irate party chief the other day, they say. 

The lady, the president of the women’s organisation who formally welcomed the distinguished guests and the others present had proceeded to refer to the pretty pass that the party had come to. While deploring the sad state of affairs in the party, the party chief had barked at her: “Stop talking rubbish! 
Now sit down!”

Highly frightened, the lady immediately had stopped speaking and took her seat, they say.
