Was it a mere publicity stunt?

The former Green Party Secretarial one now a heavyweight in the Telephone alliance captured the attention of the media when he made a remark complimentary to the Green Party leader at the party’s first-anniversary celebration. 

However, the former secretarial one’s comment had raised frowns among a certain section of the Balavegaya. 

Some telephone people had opined that the politico had made the remark as a ploy to ‘market’ his speech and he had succeeded.

In response to the talk about his speech among the party members, the politico had said: 

“All TV channels gave wide publicity to our first anniversary thanks to my speech.”
