Were the appointments irregular?

The Telephone party chief had recently appointed on his own some party organizers. These appointments considered irregular, has triggered a big hullabaloo within the party, they say.

Some party seniors rattled by these appointments had pointed out that according to the party Constitution it is the Management Committee that should appoint the party organizers subject to the approval of the party’s Working Committee. However, the Working Committee had not even received an official intimation about these appointments, they say.

The party’s hopefuls at the periphery who have been overlooked when making the new organizer appointments have made complaints to party high-ups and the latter have now decided to convey their reservations about the irregular appointments made, to the party chief in writing, they say.
