107th Colombo Tennis Championship Yasitha bags second championship title

Yasitha de Silva following his singles title win a few days ago bagged his second title of the ongoing 107th Colombo Tennis Championship partnered by Dilvan Herath clinched the doubles title with a comfortable two sets to nil win over Ashen Silva and Srinath Udyachandran in the final played at the SLTA tennis court in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.   

In the other finals that were played concurrently saw Yuhansa Peiris and Rishit Soamaratma (Under 12 Girls and Boys) and Githmi Fernando (Under 14 Girls) coming out victorious to emerge champions.    The tournament will be continued today.

Girls Under 12 – Yuhansa Peiris beat Annaya Norbert 2-0 (6/4, 6/2)   
Boys Under 12 – Rishit Somaratna beat Ashlin de Silva 2-1 (3/6, 7/5, 11/9)   
Singles - Girls Under 14 – Githmi Fernando beat Gehansa Methnadi 2-0 (6/3, 6/1)   
Doubles:
Men’s Open – Yasitha de Silva/Dilvan Herath beat Ashen Silva/Srinath Udayachandran 2-0 (6/1, 6/1)
