11th Battle of Warriors Kaweesh takes eight wickets

An impressive match bag of 8 for 35 by Kaweesh Sathsara was the highlight of the first day’s play in the annual 11th Battle of Warriors big match between Devapathiraja MMV Rathgama and P de S. Kularatne MV Ambalangoda played at Ambalangoda.  

Exchanges were even on day one with Devapathiraja MMV taking first lease of the wicket making 140 runs. P de S. Kularatne MV ended the day in 79 for 4. The match will be continued today.
