13 national sports bodies schedule elections of office-bearers before May 31

Election of office-bearers to 13 national sports bodies has to be held before May 31, according to a directive of the Department of Sports Development (DSD).   

As a result elections are scheduled for cycling (May 20), table tennis (May 31), Kho-Kho (May 31), hockey (May 26), Mountain Climb (May 27), Netball (May 29), Judo (May 23), Karate-do (May 17), Rowing (May 27), Gymnastics (May 31), Motor Sports (May 31) and Chess (May 25).   

 Meanwhile, bridge, football, handball, skating, ball badminton, elle, baseball, throwball, sepaktakraw, roll ball, muay thai and archery have not announced election dates.
