18-man pool formed for Bangabandhu tournament

The Sri Lanka Kabaddi Federation (SLKF) has formed an 18-member men’s national pool in preparation for the 3rd Bangabandhu International Invitational Men’s Kabbadi tournament for which training has already begun at the Torrington Indoor Stadium, SLKF Secretary R. Seheevan told the ‘Daily Mirror.’

This tournament to be held in Dhaka from March 11 to 21 is to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bangladesh’s founding father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, England, Poland, Kenya and Argentina are the participating teams.
The cost of airfare and accommodation will be provided by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation for this tournament.     (SP)
