29th Singer – MCA Super Premier League gets underway on Friday

The 29th Singer – MCA Super Premier League 2022, consisting of the “League”, the “Knock-out” and the T+20, will get underway with the league segment, this Friday (April 29).  
Six teams with the cream of Sri Lanka cricketers seen in action will be playing all three segments. They are: Hayleys Group RC (2021 league winner), John Keells Group, HNB, Sampath Bank, Citizens Development Business (CDB) and the debutants, Mode Engineering Group.  

The league stage is contested on a single group league consisting 15 matches, and its first batch of matches is scheduled for Friday as follows:  

HNB Vs. Sampath Bank at Colombo Colts, John Keells Group Vs. Hayleys Group at Army Grounds, Dombagoda and Mode Engineering Vs. CDB at CCC.  

The tournament will continue on Monday, May 2 with a card of three more matches at P. Sara Oval, CCC and Moratuwa Stadium
