Ace Capital CC, CCC record third successive win

Ace Capital CC and CCC recorded their third successive win of the ongoing Major League Limited Over cricket tournament with wins against Tamil Union and Moors SC in the matches played at P Sara Stadium and Reid Avenue yesterday.

A four-wicket haul by spinner Wanuja Sahan and a half-ton by Thanuka Dabare paved the way for Ace Capital CC to coast to a convincing seven-wicket win, while in a match curtailed to 22 overs, CCC posted a comfortable 74 runs.

Meanwhile, Colts CC recorded a close 12-run win over Moors SC to record their second successive win, and in the other matches that were played, NCC, Chilaw Marians CC, SSC, Badureliya SC, and Kandy Customs CC won their matches.
