Air Force SC will be eyeing a repeat of their stunning first-round win over CH & FC when the two sides meet again tomorrow (22) at the Racecourse grounds in Colombo.
The 39 – 22 victory in January has been the Airmen’s sole win of the season so far and they would desperately want to add to that tomorrow. CH & FC, placed seventh in the points table as opposed to Air Force’s eighth, has endured a disappointing season as well and will be in the mood for revenge after their loss away from home.
Air Force went down 29 – 11 to Police SC at Police Park in their most recent game while CH & FC narrowly missed out on a win against Havelock SC last week; losing 37 – 40 at Havelock Park.
For CH & FC, full back Samuel Maduwantha returns to the starting XV in place of Hirasha Sampath while centre Vishwa Kiriella comes in for Gayan Weerarathne
The Air Force SC team management refused to provide details of their team lineup when contacted.
