Akash, Anuk steer CSZ 1 to thrilling win

Two fine performances by Akash Fernando and Anuk Dewanarayana helped Colombo South Zone 1 to record a thrilling two run win over Colombo South Zone 3 in the ongoing SLC Provincial Youth League limited over tournament encounter played at Moratuwa.  

A half ton by Fernando helped CSZ 1 taking first lease of the wicket to make a modest score of 226 and a four wicket haul by Dewanarayana enabled the side to restrict their opponents for a score of 224 runs.  

Gampaha Zone 3 along with Colombo South Zone 1, Gampaha Zone 2 and Eastern U19 came out victorious in the other matches that were played.
