All Island Schools Junior Boys Boxing C’ship 2023 MK Nirosh of Hindu NS Matale bags Silver medal for boxing

Muthukumar Nirosh, a student of Hindu National School Matale was placed second in the junior boys 63-66kg weight category, and bagged the Silver medal at the All Island Schools Junior Boys Boxing Championship 2023 worked off at the Seevali boxing arena at seevali Central College Ratnapura recently.
The event was conducted by the Boxing Association of Sri Lanka

M.F. Mohamed of Zahira College Katugastota Kandy who placed first, won the Gold medal.

Nirosh said that being the only competitor from a school in Matale he is grateful to his coach Fazam Mohamed and  Indrawansa Herath Assistant Principal (co-curricular activities) for the guidance and support given to him towards this achievement.
