All set for Air Force Open Squash Tournament from tomorrow

The 14th Air Force Open Squash Tournament 2022 organised by the Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Council in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Squash Federation will be held from November 5 to 12 at the Air Force Squash Complex in Ratmalana.  


The tournament has attracted over 450 entries and features all top and novice Boys’ and Girls’ junior players in the country under the age categories of 13, 15, 17 and 19.  
In addition, all top ranking and novice senior players of the country including players from the tri-services will compete under the categories of Men’s and Women’s Open, Men’s and Women’s Novices, Men’s Over 35, 40, 45 and 50.  


This year’s tournament will be a thrilling and highly competitive event as Air Force squash players in the South Asian circuit from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are also set to participate.  


All finals will be played on November 12 at the same venue commencing at 4.00 p.m.  


Attractive cash prizes will be presented to the winners of all categories in addition, the Air Chief Marshal P. H. Mendis Challenge Trophy and the Air Chief Marshal Harry Goonetileke Memorial Trophy will be on offer for Men and Women respectively.
