Antonians in 204-run win

St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota beat St. Thomas’ College, Matara by 204 runs in their Under 19 Inter Schools Limited Over cricket counter concluded at Katugastota yesterday.   


Batting first the home team totaled a healthy 291 with fine half centuries from Yasiru Gamarachchi (63) and Lahiru Abeysinghe (78). In reply the team from Down South were shot out for a low 87 with off spinner Trevin Mathews claiming 4 scalps for 12 runs was mainly responsible for the Thomian collapse.
