Apna, Dinara clinch Open single titles

Colombo, Jan. 22 (Daily Mirror) - Apna Perera and Dinara de Silva clinched the Men’s and Women’s Open singles titles at the SSC Open Tennis Championship with wins over Saajida Razick and Kiran Vairavanathan in the two finals played at the SCC tennis courts.

Perera coasted to an easy three sets to nil win in the five set final while de Silva was made to work hard for her victory before coming out on top by two sets to one.

Singles Final:

• Women’s Open – Dinara de Silva beat Saajida Razick 2-1 (6/7, 6/2, 6/1).
• Men’s Open – Apna Perera beat Kitan Vairawanathan 3-0 (6/3, 6/4, 6/4).
