Arayan and Githsaara shine at BSC Swimming Gala

Arayan Fernando and Githsaara Panapitiya were selected as the Best Swimmers in the Boys’ and Girls’ categories, respectively, at the British School in Colombo (BSC) Junior Swimming Gala, held at their Swimming pool Complex in Colombo.

Arayan and Githsaara showcased excellent skill, confidence and leadership with intense races and outstanding technique to win their respective events in the Year 6 age group categories.  

Meanwhile, Dinuki Kumarasinghe and Niketh Nakandala were selected as the Best Swimmers in the Girls’ and Boys’ Year 5 age groups respectively.

Other age group champions: Year 7/8 Girls’: Elisha Samuel, Year 7/8 Boys’: Timeth Rajapakse, Year 9/10 Girls’: Sasha Rajapakse, Year 9/10 Boys’: Ethan Wanasinghe, Year 11/12/13 Girls’: Kiyana De Zoysa, Year 11/12/13 Boys’: Ayush Wijetunga.
