Army SC has the edge over Police SC

Colombo, Jan. 4 (Daily Mirror) - Army SC and Police SC with two wins each will clash in their Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament encounter at the Police Park tomorrow. The kick-off is at 3.45 p.m.

Army SC led by Ashan Bandara defeated Navy SC and they also went down fighting against Havelock SC by just two points.

Skipper Bandara will bank on Nalin Premaratne, Lahiru Ratnayake, Nalaka Maduranga, Dilshara Kodagoda and Lasantha Kumara.

On the other hand Police SC, led by Mohan Wimalaratne were able to beat Navy SC for their solitary win.

Skipper Wimalaratne will be expecting the support from Matheesha Perera, Hirantha Perera, Sujan Kodithuwakku, Lahiru Thilakarathe, Prince Chamara to deliver the goods.

However, the scale is in favour of Army SC, who will go all out to record their second win of the tournament.

Army SC: Ijaz ahmad, Chathuranga Xavier, Mohamed Akram, Nalaka Maduranga, Nalan Premanath, Kaveen Perera, Chamara Jawickrama, Suboda Samarakoon, Manjula Weerasingha and Dilshan Hettiarachchi, Sudaraka Dikkubura, Ashan Bandara (Captain), Lasantha Kumara, Dilshara Kodagoda, Lahiru Rathnayaka.
