Attaab leads Trinity at Rugby

Attaab Manzil, a third-year player, rugby coloursman, Stubbs Shield boxer, and silver medalist with the national youth squad at the International King of the Ring boxing meet in Sweden, has been named Trinity College’s Under-20 rugby captain for the 2023 season.

Attaab will have Chamendra Dhanapala, another rugby coloursman, as his deputy.

Five seniors will feature in the Trinity outfit for the 2023 season, which is expected to begin in late April next year.

The Trinitians are coached by Fazil Marija and assisted by Buddika Thalagampola.
