BRJC to recruit new boxing officials

The Boxing Referees and Judges Commission (BRJC) is calling for applications from past boxers to recruit new officials as referees and judges.  
The course is scheduled to be held from October 1-7 alongside the Layton Cup boxing tournament at the Sugathadasa Stadium.  

The course will be conducted entirely in English, providing an invaluable opportunity for participants to enhance their officiating skills and contribute to the growth of the sport of boxing in Sri Lanka, according to the secretary of the BRJC Hemantha Weerasinghe.  

To be considered for this course, applicants must meet the following criteria: possess English literacy, demonstrate a background or genuine interest in boxing and commit to being available for officiating boxing tournaments. Active coaches are not eligible to enroll in the course.
