BSC secure Silver at U-13 Cager Tourney

The BSC U-13 Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Teams with officials    

The British School in Colombo (BSC) emerged runners-up in the Inter-International Schools Under-13 Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Tournament, conducted by the Colombo International School and held at the Nalanda College Courts in Colombo.  

The BSC Girls’ Team went down fighting 6-8 against Lyceum, Nugegoda in a thrilling final encounter while the BSC Boys’ Team lost to Gateway College, Colombo 12-18 in the final fixture after having led 3-0 initially.  

Despite the setback in the two finals, the BSC had the honour of winning two individual titles.

Githsaara Panapitiya claimed the Best Offensive Player Award in the Girls’ tournament while Carter Joseph secured the Best Offensive Player Award in the Boys’ tournament. (SP)
