CDB lift MCA “Ban-Fin” Cricket Sixes

Adeesha Tillakaratne (34 not out) and Chanaka Ruwansiri (30) were involved in a a whirlwind partnership, for Citizens Development Business Finance (CDB), to chase down 100 runs and snatch a last ball win over HNB in the Final of the MCA “Ban-Fin” Cricket Sixes conducted by the Mercantile Cricket Association , concluded last Saturday, at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.   

HNB batting first got off to a absolute flyer as Madhawa Warnapura led the way with a blistering eight ball 35 not out; Sandun Weerakkody (21) and Tharusha Fernando (19 not out) continued with the onslaught to take HNB to the magical three figure mark in five overs (100/1).
