CEB to face SLPA in Men’s Super League VB final

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) have qualified for the Munchee National Super League 2024 Men’s Volleyball Tournament final after they recorded victories in their respective semi-finals played at the Indoor Stadium in Wathupitiwala.

11 leading teams participated in this tournament, which was conducted by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation with the final scheduled to be played in the first week of December.

The Men’s Tournament included Ocean Lanka SC, Army SC, CEB SC, SLPA SC, Police SC, National Youth Service Council SC, Sri Lanka University Combined SC, Melban SC, Air Force SC, Best Pacific SC and Navy SC.

In the Men’s Tournament semi-finals CEB SC beat Ocean Lanka SC 25-23, 21-25, 18-25, 25-10 and 15-7 while SLPA SC beat Army SC 18-25, 29-27, 18-25, 25-22 and 18-16.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Super League Volleyball Tournament is now in progress and the semi-finals will be played today.

Air Force SC, Navy SC, SLPA SC, MAS Casualline SC and Omega Line SC are vying for honours in the Women’s Super League Volleyball Tournament.
