CPRFU U12, U14 Schools Sevens Dharmaraja College win U14 tournament

The Central Province Rugby Football (CPRFU) organized Under 12 and 14 School Sevens tournaments were worked off at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium recently with Dharmaraja College bearing Trinity College 14-05 in the final.

In the Under 14 semi-finals Trinity beat Vidyartha 12-00 while Dharmaraja beat St. Anthony’s 12-10.

The Deputy High Commission of Pakistan Wajid Hassan Hashmi was the chief guest at this tournament.

A total of 23 teams from Under 12 and seventeen teams from Under 14 locked horns in this annual event which was very well organized and played in front of a packed Nittawela
Rugby Stadium.

The Under 12 matches were played as a way to create awareness about the game among kids.
