CSZ 2 chalks up third successive win

Colombo South Zone 2 chalked up their third successive win of the ongoing Under 19 Provincial Youth League limited over cricket tournament with a 29-run win over Colombo South Zone 1 in the match played at Reid Avenue. 


CSZ 2 taking first lease of the wicket made a score of 218 while CSZ 1 in their run chase of 229 runs was able to muster a score of only 189 runs.  


Meanwhile Anuradhapura recorded their second win when they trounced Mannar by a massive 221 runs in the match played at Anuradhapura.   


Colombo North Zone 2 along with Matara and Polonnaruwa too posted back to back wins when they overcame Gampaha Zone 2, was Ratnapura and Mullaitivu.
