Camillus Cup hockey to be revived after several years

Sixteen teams will vie for honours in the Camillus Cup All Island and Inter-Club League Hockey Men’s Championship conducted by the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation (SLHF) from February 12 to March 12.  
This is the first tournament to be conducted by the newly elected officials of SLHF after several years of inactivity, according to the SLHF Secretary G. Vishvanathan.  
This tournament will be conducted in ten cities.  
The participating teams are Army HC, BRC HC, Southern Star HC, Panadura HC (Group A), Air Force HC, CR&FC, Matale SC, Old Maris HC (group B), Navy HC, Royal CHC, Wennappuwa HC, Yarl Stars SC (group C), Police HC, Old Nalandians HC, Kandy HC and Old Duthians HC (group D).  
Army will take on BRC in the opening match of Camillus Cup Hockey tournament on February 12 at 8:30 a.m. at the Astro Turf while Air Force face CH&FC at 4:00 p.m. There are 24 matches in the league.
