Central Asia Men’s Volleyball in October in Colombo

The Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) has selected Sri Lanka to host the Central Asia Volleyball Men’s Championship 2023.   

 This is the second time that Sri Lanka will host the Central Asia Volleyball Championship. Accordingly, Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) has made arrangements to hold the tournament from October 9-15 at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.   

 Central Asia volleyball includes 14 countries, of which seven countries are participating and have confirmed upto now,according to SLVB.   

 Meanwhile, the Central Asia 2023 women’s tournament is scheduled to be held from May 22-28 in Kathmandu, Nepal, and SLVB has made arrangements for the Sri Lanka Women’s National Volleyball team to participate.   

 A national squad consisting of 24 players has now started training for the related Women’s tournament
