Chanaka holds firm grip in SLG Ranking Tourney

Chanaka Perera of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) ended at the top with a total score of 226 at the end of day three of the first Sri Lankan Ranking Golf Championship, conducted by Sri Lanka Golf (SLG) and continued at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club yesterday.  

Chalitha Pushpika from Navy, trailing by a mere six strokes with a score of 232 was on number two while Uchitha Ranasinghe (RCGC) has clinched the third position with a score of 239.  

Meanwhile, Priya Hemantha of the Victoria Golf Resort has secured a fourth spot on the leaderboard with a score of 242, setting the stage for an intense showdown among the top contenders.  

In the Girls’ segment, three youngsters from the Army teed off with R. M. A. C. Rathnayaka leading with a score of 311 followed by K. U. D. N. Uluwatta (317) and K. W. D. S. Wijegunarathna (328).
