The century-plus year-old Clifford Cup knock-out rugby tournament 2023 will be kicked off in Colombo at Racecourse and CR & FC ground on February 26.

Defending league champions Kandy SC will be joined by CH & FC as teams pulling out of this tournament, leaving just six teams to battle it out for honours. This tournament will be played after a lapse of three years and is the oldest rugby tournament in South Asia.

CR & FC, who are celebrating their centenary year, are the favoured team having received a first round bye and direct semi-final spot, along with Navy SC.

The semi-finals will be worked off on March 1 and 2 with the finals scheduled for March 5. The two semi-finals and final will be worked off at Racecourse ground.
All matches to kick-off at 4 p.m.

Schedule: Feb 26 - Police SC vs Air Force SC at Racecourse (Referee – Hasantha Weranga); Havelock SC vs Army SC at Longdon Place (Referee - Raveen Alexander)
