The district tournaments are being held in six districts, namely Colombo, Kandy, Kegalle, Galle, Nuwara Eliya, and Ratnapura, which is one of the two qualifying tournaments to select the players who will participate in the forthcoming 70th National Snooker Championship scheduled to be held next month.

In the quarter-final and semi-final encounters, Fazil defeated his clubmates M. Razeen and M. Arfan, while Musharaff overcame Aamir Faris of MICH and S.L. Gamage of Army BC.
