Colombo District U-13 badminton pool introduced

Colombo District U-13 Pool with Officials.   

As part of its development and nurturing programme, introducing Under-13 badminton pools across all districts of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) initiated the squad for the Colombo District recently.   
The Regional Development Committee of SLB named four pools of Under-13 shuttlers, from where the selected youngsters will go through a comprehensive training schedule.   
They are pooled as Colombo South, Colombo North, Colombo Central and Colombo East, which will include a total of 124 Girls and Boys of the age category of Under-13.   
The squads include young and aspiring shuttlers who reached the National Junior Badminton Championship, organised and conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association, as well as players who emerged champions, runners-up, semi-finalists and quarter-finalists and promising male and female players who represented Colombo District at the age group of Under-13 last year.
