Colombo FC win City League President’s Cup

Colombo FC won the City League President’s Cup for the fourth time.  
Colombo FC beat Maligawaththa Youth 2-0 in the final held at the City League ground.   
The winners Colombo FC was awarded Rs. 150,000 in cash and the runner-up Maligawaththa Youth got Rs. 100,000 in cash. Sixteen City League affiliated football teams participated in this tournament.   

Both sides were goalless in the first half of the match, with Colombo FC’s Mohamed Akeeb scoring both the winning goals in the 51st and 64th minutes.   
The best goalkeeper of the tournament was Imran Nasir of Colombo FC, Mohammad Fazil of Maligawaththa Youth was the best defender, Ahmed Sasni of Colombo FC the best midfielder, Mohammad Aqib the best striker and Mohammad Sarfan of Maligawaththa Youth as the best player of the tournament.
