Colombo North edge out Galle in a thriller

Skipper Inuka Karannagoda along with Thanuja Rajapakse and Yohan Fernando cracked half centuries to steer Colombo North Under-19 to a thrilling three-wicket win over Galle Under-19 with three balls to spare in their Under-19 Sri Lanka Youth League Limited Over Cricket Tournament encounter played at Galle yesterday.
Colombo North Under-19 set a challenging target of 261 runs in 43 overs, reached their target in the last over of the innings.
Earlier, Galle Under-19, taking first lease of the wicket, made 260 for seven with Randul Samarahewa and Dharshaka Sandeep making half centuries. 
Meanwhile, Colombo South Under-19 overcame Kandy Under-19 by seven wickets in another match played at the Thurstan College Grounds.
