Defending champions Colts CC along with SSC, Tamil Union and Army SC maintained their unbeaten record when they recorded their third successive wins of the ongoing Under 23 inter-club cricket tournament yesterday.

Colts CC underwent some anxious moments before pulling a close one-wicket win against Kalutara TC at the Colts.

SSC thanks to a top knock of 108 by Nuwanindu Fernando coasted to a massive 199-run win on the D/L method while Tamil Union overcame CCC by three wickets and Army SC defeated Police SC by 60 runs on the D/L method.

Meanwhile Lankan CC pulled off an upset when they got the better of last year’s runner’s-up Chilaw Marians CC with a comfortable win by 117-run. In the other matches played, NCC, Moors SC and BRC recorded their second wins.
