Cricket Lion Malith to lead Trinity

Third year Trinity Cricket Lion and left-arm spinner Malith Rathnayake has been appointed as the Trinity College First XI Skipper for the 2024/2025 Inter-School Under-19 cricket season.

Malith took 86 wickets last season for Trinity in the two-day encounters while capturing 15 wickets in the one-day format.

Malith will have two third year coloursmen as his co-vice captains of the outfit - Vathila Udara and Dimantha Mahavithana. 

Vathila scored more than 500 runs while Dimantha scored more than 750 runs in the two-day format last season.
