Four countries including Sri Lanka will take part in this tournament, according to Sri Lanka Beach Volleyball Association President C. Ratnamudali. The other countries are Singapore, Maldives and Malaysia.
All participating countries will be allowed to compete with only one men’s and women’s team.
The two winning teams will qualify for the 2022 Commonwealth Games to be held from July 28 and August 8 in Birmingham, England.

A 24-member national pool (12 men and 12 women) have been selected in preparation for this tournament before the final team is selected before March 10.
