DSI Supersports VB Tourney from June 15

The 22nd DSI Supersports Inter-Schools Volleyball Championship 2024 District-Level matches will commence from June 15.  
The tournament is conducted by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB), Sri Lanka Schools Volleyball Association (SLSVA) and the Ministry of Education.  
Entries for the tournament will close on May 31. The tournament will be conducted in the age groups of Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 for Boys’ and Girls’.  
The District-Level matches will be held from June 15 to June 30 during weekends while the National-Level matches will be held from July 6 to July 21 during weekends.  
These details were revealed by the sponsors D. Samson and Sons (Pvt) Limited during a media briefing held in Colombo.  
The champions and the runners-up of the District-Level matches will qualify to play in the National-Level Tournament.   
Meanwhile, the National-Level matches will be held from August 7 to 11 and all age group finals will be held on November 2 and 3 at the Buddhadasa Grounds in Colombo.  
The DSI Supersports Inter-Schools Volleyball Championship started in 1999 with the participation of 198 schools and already over 400 players have made it to the national team.   
This year, over 4,000 schools are set to participate in all five age group categories.
