Dambulla Women prevailed with a comfortable four-wicket win over Colombo Women in the final played at the Galle Stadium yesterday to emerge champions of the National Super League U23 Women’s T20 cricket tournament.
Colombo Women, taking first lease of the wicket, was restricted to a score of 98, and Dambulla Women, in their run chase, was helped by useful knocks from Vinoksha Balasooriya and Limmy Tilekeratne, which helped them race to the target with eight balls to spare.

At Galle - Dambulla Women won by four wickets 
Colombo Women 98/7 in 20 overs (Shikari de Silva 25, Nikesha Wijesekera 19; Vidushika Perera 3/24, Harini Perera 2/12)
Dambulla Women 99/6 in 18.2 overs (Vinoksha Balasooriya 27, Limmy Tilekeratne 21 n.o., Vidushika Perera 14 n.o.; Hashini Liyanage 3/20, Tharushi Thathsarani 2/20)
