Danushan climbs up to number two

The National Ranking Golf Tournament reached its third day at the Royal Colombo Golf Club with some dramatic finishes and shifting leaderboards which saw Nadaraja Thangaraja maintaining his lead for the third day in tandem while Kumar Danushan climbed to number two.  

In the Men’s Division, Thangaraja (201) continued his strong performance, maintaining his top position followed by Danushan (217), who made a surge up in the leaderboard with a superb round, keeping the pressure on the overnight leader.  

Meanwhile, Chalitha Pushpika (217) and Husni Uwise (222) engaged in a tight battle for the top spot. Pushpika’s consistent play has kept him in contention while Uwise’s gutsy performance has been right in the mix, setting up a thrilling final-day showdown today.  

Yannik (223), ended on number five position and in the Ladies’ segment Sanduni Wanasinghe was on top.  
With just one day left, the stage is set for an entertaining conclusion to the National Ranking Tournament, organised and conducted by Sri Lanka Golf.
