(Day One) Under 19 Cricket Tharindu, Devindu shine on day one

A knock of 75 by Tharindu Harshana for Thurstan College and a five wicket haul by Devindu Kekirideniya for Mahanama College were the highlights of the first day’s play in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Thurstan ground. Thurstan taking first lease of the wicket made a modest score of 234 and Mahanama in their turn ended the day on 96 for 2. The match will be continued today.
