Dhananja Edirisinghe bags 7/7 for Softlogic Life

Off spinner Dhananja Edirisinghe with mesmerizing figures of 3.5 overs, seven runs, seven wickets, helped Softlogic Life to snuff Ceylon Tobacco Co. by four wickets, in the on going fifth Fairfirst Insurance Trophy – MCA “F” division 25 over League Tournament 2023, continued last weekend.  

The weekend’s batting honours went to Unilever opening batsman Gayan Rupasinghe, who hit a hurricane 96 runs in 53 balls, inclusive of 11 sixes and a boundary vs. Ansell Textile; Unilever won the match by 25 runs.  

The tournament will be continued this week-end (April (1) and (2) with the Pre- Quarter finals. (BM)
