Dinal slams unbeaten ton, Trinity amass 340/4

Dinal Fernando slammed an unbeaten century in 113 balls which included 11 boundaries and two sixes to help Trinity College make a formidable 340 for four declared against Maris Stella College, Negombo in their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter began at Negombo yesterday.

Maris Stella in their turn ended day one on 71 for one.

Meanwhile, D. S. Senanayake College ended day one on 141 for three in reply to Maliyadeva’s 192 in their match played at Kurunegala.

St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa ended in a strong position against Maris Stella Coll;ege, Thimbirigaskatuwa in another match played at Thimbirigaskatuwa.
