Ekanayake takes nine as Kandy Zone 1 record massive win

Kandy Zone 1 beat Batticaloa by 281 runs in their Under 19 Inter District cricket encounter which concluded at the Lake View ground in Kandy.
The highlight of the encounter was a sparkling unbeaten century by Trinitian Supun Waduge. 

He cracked eight boundaries and two huge sixes in his unbeaten 123 which came off only 143 balls.

The visitors were shot out for a low 54 with Sumangala fast bowler  Thenuka Ekanayake taking 9 for 10 in a deadly spell.
