Entries for Badminton Nationals close on Nov. 24

Entries for the 71st National Badminton Championships  scheduled to be held from December 4-10 at the SLB Headquarters and MBA  Badminton Courts will close on November 24.   
Participants are encouraged to submit their entries online  through the official link:  https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/tournament/12E87736-E02E-47ED-8E16-CA3AD3A76E18.  
Those who face any technical difficulties in submitting the  online entries due to the requirement of an SLB (Sri Lanka Badminton)  registration number should contact Himasha Chaturya on 0740121846.  

Those who face any difficulties in entry submission other than the above issue should contact Akila Hettiarachchi on 0771851839.  

The main draw seeding will be determined based on SLB  Rankings as of November 28. The draw will take place at 11.00 a.m. on  November 29, at No 2, Cambridge Terrace, Colombo 7.  
The opening ceremony will take place on December 4, and will be followed by the preliminary rounds.  The championship will include events ranging from Under-11  to 19 in the junior category and Over-30 to Over-70 in the senior  category.  

However, the Open events category comprising Men’s and  Women’s Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles will take centre stage at  this annual event.
