Entries pour in for netball nationals

A total of 31 teams have already confirmed their participation in the Under-21 Junior National Netball Championships, conducted by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) to be held on February 17 and 18 at the D. S. Senanayake College Cricket Grounds in Colombo.  The entries for this tournament will close on February 10 and the NFSL is hoping that more teams will join in the fray.  

This is the second major tournament in the 2024 netball calendar following the conclusion of the Dialog Senior Netball Nationals held in Wennappuwa.   

The NFSL will set up an Under-19 national pool immediately after the completion of the junior national netball championships. The Under-19 national pool will be set up in preparation for the 2025 World Youth Netball Championship and the Asian Youth Netball Championship.
