Eva All-Island Netball Tourney on December 4-5

The Eva All-Island Open Netball Championship 2022, conducted by the Western Province Netball Association (WPNA), will be held on December 4-5 at the Air Force Grounds 
in Rifle Green.

The entries for this popular netball tournament, sponsored by ICL Brands (Pvt) Limited, will close on November 25, and the closing date will not be further extended, WPNA Secretary Rio Ramlan told the Daily Mirror yesterday.

The tournament will be open to all clubs, mercantile firms, government institutions, banks, universities, and schools, both local and international, affiliated to their respective associations.
The tournament will be played in four categories: ‘A’ Division (Open Women’s and Men’s), ‘B’ Division (Open Women’s only), School’s Division (Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19) and Veterans (Over-40 Women’s only).

Meanwhile, the draw for the tournament will be held on November 30 at the National Institute of Sports Science in Colombo 7, commencing at 5 p.m.
