Even exchanges at Welisara

Exchanges were even on day one of the Under-19 Inter-Schools Division Two Tier ‘B’ two-day Cricket Tournament semi-final encounter at the Navy SC Grounds in Welisara yesterday.
Maris Stella College, Thimbirigaskatuwa taking first lease of the wicket made 174 and Christ the King College, Ja-Ela in their turn recovered from an early setback to make 70 for four when play was stopped due to bad light.
