CR welcoming French Ambassador
CR & FC will be setting up a
Fan Zone during the Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2023 matches during the month of October and November 2023.
CR & FC President, Tikiri Ellepola along with General Committee and Trustees presented HE Jean- Francois Pactet, French Ambassador with Honorary Membership and a personalized copy of “Tackling Change: 100 years of CR & FC,” a compelling account of the club’s journey.
France Le Blues regarded as very strong favourites on home soil at the RWC. France has made it to the last four teams at every RWC and were runner-up on
three occasions.
CR & FC has made elaborate arrangements to project all RWC games on a giant screen. CR & FC welcomed HE Jean-Francois
Pactet, French Ambassador to the “Home of Rugby”, as the club prepares a fan zone in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2023 in France.
