Friendship Gymnastic Club, Colombo and Mahamaya BMV, Kadawatha clinched the Boys’ and Girls’ titles respectively at the Gym for Challenge Contest 2024 Championship held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.   

The event was conducted by the National Gymnastic Association of Sri Lanka with the participation of over 1,600 schoolboys and schoolgirls.   

Meanwhile, the Royal Gymnastic Club, Polonnaruwa won the mixed category championship.   

All champions received the Ineesha Perera Gym for Life Challenge Trophies.   

Results:
Boys’ champions: Friendship Gymnastic Club Colombo. Runner-up: Isipathana College. Third place: Ashoka Vidyalaya, Colombo.   
Girls’ champions: Mahamaya BMV, Kadawatha. Runners-up: Visakha BMV, Sapugaskanda. Third place: Culture Winter Sports Club, Horana.   
Mixed champions: Royal Gymnastic Club, Polonnaruwa. Runner-up: Veenasa Sports Club, Kottawa. Third place: Dharmasoka Vidyalaya, Kelaniya.
