Gateway through to the final round in All Island Basketball

Gateway College won all their group matches in the All Island Under 16 ‘A’ Division Basketball tournament beating Trinity College Kandy, CIS Colombo, St. Peter’s College Colombo, Lyceum International Wattala and St. Benedict’s College Kotahena.  

They won all their matches by convincing margins beating Trinity 58-37, CIS 97-59, St. Peter’s 71-38, Lyceum 82-38 and St. Benedict’s 71-24.   
Vishwa Herath was outstanding with his performances, scoring a total of 128 points. Among the other scorers for Gateway are Bilal Shafraz, Dulain Thevarapperuma and Ho Ju lee.
