Golfers Jevahn and Kaya to vie in Scotland

Jevahn Sathasivam and Kaya Daluwatte will represent Sri Lanka at the R & A Junior Open Golf Tournament, which commenced in Scotland yesterday.

The R & A Junior Open welcomes the world’s best Under-16 golfers from 69 countries affiliated with the R & A.
Selected after a fine performance at the Sri Lanka Junior Open 2023, Jevahn’s participation was ratified by the Sri Lanka Golf Union and approved by the Ministry of Sports.

Jevahn’s preparing routine is under the guidance of Swing Coach K. Kumar and Putting Coach Mithun Perera.
Meanwhile, Kaya Daluwatte’s entry was a one-horse race as she participated in the previous year as well. She has been studying in India and playing golf which gave lot of exposure for the youngster.
